Becki Newton

  

Rebecca Sara Newton is an American actressand model, most famous for her portrayals as Amanda Tanen on Ugly Betty and Quinn Garvey on How I Met Your Mother.



 



 Early life



 Newton was born in New Haven (Connecticut) as the daughter of Thomas Newton (nee Chase) and Jennifer Newton (nee Chase) who were composers and arranger Bruce Chase's as well as Fannie Paschell Chase's daughters. Newton is an immediate cousin of actress Sienna Miller. [citation needed]



 



 Newton moved to New York City after graduation and was cast in several commercials on television, for companies like Olive Garden. Newton also appeared in an PSA video on drinking risks for Human Relations Media, called "Keg Party."

  Suzanne Pleshette was an American television, film, and voice actor. She lived from the 31st of January 1937, until January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her career in the theater and then began to appear in films in the late 1950s. She later was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Pleshette has also been featured in numerous TV productions, usually as guest actors.
